Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV)

"The Sun can help prevent climate change"

Sustaining MALAYSIA'S NATURAL BEAUTY through harnessing solar power.

MBIPV Project

As part of Malaysia commitment to mitigate climate change, the country has, under the 9th Malaysia Plan,  embarked on a natiowide project to promote the widespread use of solar photovoltaic (PV), as a clean and renewable form of electricity generation.

In July 2005, the Government of Malaysia, with support from the Global Environment Facility & United Nations Development Programme, launched the Malaysia Building Integrated Photovoltaic (MBIPV) Project.

Under this project, there are attractive financial incentives for the public to install the SOLAR BIPV in their premises. Click here for detail.

Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV)

Photovoltaic (PV) refers to the direct conversion of sunlight into electrical energy by means of a semiconductor device(s). Photovoltaic are an elegant means of producing electricity on site, without concern for fuel supply or environmental impact.

PV is aproven technology worldwide and is now increasingly used by building industry for its aesthetic value.

In many countries, photovoltaic is incorporated as an architectural element into building designs to create unique and outstanding cityscapes. Under such circumstances, PV serves multiple functions.

It is a building material; it ganerate electricity and it is also an aesthetic element of building design.

This is Solar BIPV which will enable you to be part of the solution to climate change.
